The Flying Piston Benefit events are produced by Marilyn Stemp of Iron Trader News and Jeff Najar of Horsepower Marketing to assist in raising awareness and funds for non-profits and individuals in the biker community. New ridership and veteran’s concerns are the focus.

In addition to supporting Motorcycle Missions which helps veterans suffering from PTSD learn skills through motorcycle building, Flying Piston Breakfast proceeds support, a foundation that makes bike riding a part of the kindergarten curriculum in schools, with the goal to cover the nation.

The Builders Breakfast began organically, as many efforts. But the event has evolved, bringing a firm goal into focus: to bring more riders into motorcycling.

All Kids Bike is a national movement led by the Strider Education Foundation to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations.

At the Strider Education Foundation, we believe learning to ride a bike builds the confidence that changes everything! Our mission is to deliver superior balance bikes and a proven Learn-To-Ride curriculum to schools and organizations that wish to teach all individuals how to ride.

Motorcycle Missions is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation helping Veterans and First Responders with PTS(D) find hope and healing through motorcycle therapy. At Motorcycle Missions we understand that much of the post traumatic stress (disorder) paradigm is that the need for purpose, camaraderie, and adrenaline is of the utmost importance. Our hope is to encourage our participants to instill a life-long passion for riding and building motorcycles, that will help them enjoy a happy, healthy, and balanced lifestyle after trauma.
