2nd Annual Bombshell Betty's Car Show

Bombshell Betty's is a charity founded last year in Southern California's Antelope Valley, when photographer Bonnie Navarro had the idea to create a pin-up calendar to raise funds and awareness for our veterans. This calendar would soon involve the lovely ladies known as Pinups for American Heroes, who have appeared in both the 2018 and 2019 calendars. Joining Bonnie in this worthy endeavor are Katherine Letterman and Cheyenne Anderson. All three have veterans in their families and are expressing their gratitude for their freedoms through “community involvement, beautiful photos, and Pin Ups.”
Bonnie tells us that “The car show is another way to allow us to connect with the community, showcase our talents, and let everyone know what we are about. The first car show exceeded our expectations, so we had to do it again! Everything is going to be bigger. More cars, more pin-ups, more crowds, more activities, more food, just more! We’ve got a lot more room at this venue and a lot more people know who we are now!” Girls, cars, and a good cause. Who are we to argue with that?
Volunteer and pin-up recruitment are taking place at 7pm on February 15 at Bravery Brewing in Lancaster, California, but if SoCal is outside your travel plans you can still get involved by spreading the word on social media: “With exposure comes new opportunities and with new opportunities comes the ability to do more for our veterans,” says Cheyenne, reminding us that while the calendar and car show get most of the attention, people can also get involved in several other events they promote throughout the year.
