Call For Charity Skateboard Artists - Art On Deck - Daytona Bike Week 2026

It's that time of year again where Gnarly Magazine and Flying Piston Benefit do our call for 20 ARTISTS to paint a one-of-a-kind skate deck for the Daytona Bike Week “Art on Deck” charity art contest and charity auction.

Winner of the Contest will receive $200

Each skateboard deck will be auctioned to support All Kids Bike, helping teach kindergarteners across America how to ride. 

Art = more kids on two wheels. Pretty cool.

THEME OPTIONS 

1. FREESTYLE (Anything Goes) No rules. No boundaries. Just pure creative explosion. 

2. PEACE & LOVE — 1960s & 1970s Channel the era of psychedelic posters, counterculture, and iconic pop art. 

INSPIRATION INCLUDES: 
• Wes Wilson – trippy, flowing psychedelic lettering 
• Rick Griffin – surf, rock & roll, swirling cosmic imagery 
• Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley – classic rock poster energy, skeletons, roses 
• Roy Lichtenstein – bold comic-book pop art vibes 
• Andy Warhol – high-contrast, mass-culture iconography Think peace signs, bright colors, flower power, good vibrations. 

ART GUIDELINE: 
• Medium: Anything that adheres to a skate deck—paint, markers, collage, mixed media. 
• No politics please 
• No hate

DEADLINE: 
Your finished skate deck need to be completed, shipped out and in our hands by Friday, February 13, 2026
